Amberleigh Village/ARPL Meeting
« on: June 07, 2012, 06:55:14 PM »
Automotive Robotics Proving Labs Inc. (ARPL) and Purdue Research Foundation (PRF) officials have announced plans to open a 50,000-square-foot engine test facility in the Purdue Research Park.*  The location of the ARPL site will be approximately 0.3 miles from the nearest home in Amberleigh Village.  Several AV residents have expressed concern about potential sound levels from the facility and the emissions that may be generated.

As a result of these concerns Chandler Poole, the Director of Development for City of West Lafayette, has arranged a meeting so that Amberleigh Village residents can discuss their concerns about the ARPL project with representatives from ARPL, PRF, and the city.

The meeting will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 6:00pm at the PRF offices:

Purdue Research Foundation
Kurz Purdue Technology Center,
Purdue Research Park of West Lafayette,
1281 Win Hentschel Blvd., West Lafayette

The following people will be representing the City of West Lafayette, ARPL, and PRF at the meeting:

City:Mayor Dennis and Chandler Poole
ARPL:Matt Hallum and Tony Brown
PRF:Joe Hornett

Our thanks go to Chandler Poole and AV resident Xiaorui Chen for arranging this meeting.
